About the Job:
Join our client's dynamic team and be a part of their improvement projects in Perth. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to contribute to the success of this exciting venture. In this role, you will provide maintenance engineering services for the assets of a Tier 1 operator within the Oil and Gas industry, driving optimisation in their ongoing maintenance strategies and asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review existing maintenance strategies and develop new strategies for project-specific equipment.
• Prepare CMMS Maintenance Master Data in accordance with client guidelines.
• Manage the critical spares register and ensure optimal inventory levels to enhance asset reliability.
• Develop and review BOM/EPL, perform Equipment Criticality Analysis, and stay up-to-date with technical innovations.
• Audit CMMS systems for project-specific material and initiate Maintenance and Material Master Data change requests.
• Prepare and update maintenance work instructions to maintain equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support and advice to team members and project teams.
• Lead improvement initiatives based on recurring issues and provide leadership to operational and maintenance teams.
• Monitor compliance of maintenance work and equipment with statutory requirements for Major Hazard Facilities.
• Coordinate inspection programs for process piping, vessels, and equipment according to Australian and international standards.

What You'll Have:
• Proven track record in implementing maintenance improvement projects and leading diverse portfolios of improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and international standards, regulatory requirements, and maintenance engineering fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with FMECA, RCA, RCM, and CMMS systems such as SAP, MAXIMO, JDE, etc.
• Substantial technical experience in Maintenance Engineering in Oil & Gas or similar industries.
• Tertiary Qualification within Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python or R is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to travel as required for projects and to maintain connections with other client offices and sites.
