About the Role:
Join our team as a Project Engineer specialising in Electrical and Instrumentation for our client's project of significant scale. This role offers an initial office-based position in Perth, with potential mobilisation to the site during construction. You will work alongside a dedicated team, contributing to the successful delivery of this project.

Responsibilities:
• Report to the Lead SMPE&I Senior Project Engineer.
• Assist in creating, tendering, managing, and closing out the SMPE&I Supply and Installation Contract.
• Manage E&I portions of the SMPE&I Contract both offsite and onsite during construction.
• Review documentation to ensure technical aspects of the package are well-defined.
• Develop scope to ensure sub-contract suppliers and site installation scopes are well-defined.
• Serve as a focal point for all E&I-focused technical and construction-based queries from the Contractor.
• Liaise with in-house and external designers as required for project completion.
• Ensure HSEQ requirements of the project are adhered to and company procedures are followed.
• Manage minor procurement packages and track project expenditure in relation to scope and budget.
• Assist in project document and drawing control.
• Manage and review/approve Contractor documentation throughout the Contract life.
• Assist in project reporting for both in-house and client reports.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering with extensive field experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a mining construction environment.
• Previous experience managing contractors with technical, construction, and commercial tasks.
• High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in operating systems, office products, and engineering tools.
• Electrical nominee status is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills in a team environment.
